Where Did It All Begin?

This is my first blog & I am still very green so hope I'm not making any silly mistakes & huge faux pas'.

So here it goes a little background to bring you up to date on how I got to be moving to the country.  It seems like not too long ago that I was fully in the throws of the corporate world, well that is to say I was an Executive Assistant for powerful (often egotistically) men who needed someonewith my skills to smooth out the edges and keep their lives running smoothly.  Quite often I found myself doing those demeaning jobs like picking up dry cleaning or ordering their wife's anniversary flowers, though don't think that I didn't insist on some type of compensation all negotiated with a tongue & cheek flair.  They always knew I was standing up for myself & other women who get trodden over at work by pompous men, yet I found a way to do so & still keep them respecting my direct ways. 

Anyway I digress, I meet my husband while managing one of my Executives & it has now been almost 10 years that we have been together.  He has two kids (the girl is 15 & boy is 11) from his first marriage & we have one wonderful in the thick of being a two year old little boy.  So hubby & I were in suits when we meet & dated off & on for two years before we decided to take the plunge.  We would meet after work in the city I am from in our tailored suits, he always liked to wear suspenders & they would drive me crazy with lust.  I always thought it was a shame that they didn't snap harder haha
